Lorenzo Mannocci graduated in Computer Engineering in 2019 at the University of Pisa, with a thesis entitled Application of computational stigmergy to the characterization of hotspots through data provided by location-based social networks.
He continues his studies, always in Pisa, with the master’s degree in Data science and business informatics. He graduated in 2021 with a thesis entitled Bot detection with unsupervised method based on multivariate time series in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
In November 2021, he obtained a PhD scholarship co-financed by CNR-IIT and by the CNR on the theme Machine/deep learning for understanding and curbing the spread of online disinformation. So, he is currently a Ph.D. student in Italian National Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence @ CNR-IIT.
In 2021, after a trial period started in 2019, he launched Data Science Italy, a dissemination project accessible to everyone, from computer scientists to economists to users who are completely unrelated to this world, that of big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence etc.
